State of the Mac

It is interesting to see that a lot is happening on the Mac when it comes to Web browsers. Opera 7 on the Mac is seeing some progress, though I can't really reveal more than that. There's still work to do before a public release can take place.

Recently, a public beta of OmniWeb 5 was released, and you might notice that it seems to borrow some of Opera's features, such as sessions (Workspaces), the start panel/page, and the Windows panel. It will be interesting to see how OmniWeb 5 compares to Opera 7 for Mac.

For those of you hungry for more on Opera 7 for Mac, have a look at Tim's journal.

And if anyone is wondering, I can confirm that I have indeed seen Opera 7 for Mac running, and it looks rather nice 🙂
