  1. I want to work at Opera. But I'm not sure if I'm capable. I have only 2.5 years experience and unfinished education. Well, I will make a good looking CV and send it to Opera Software.P.S. May I apply for several positions?

  2. Under what conditions/circumstances does Opera allow employees to "work from home"I've noticed a handful of employees that aren't in the location of any US Opera offices (..so I conclude they are working from "home"), but none of the jobs listed on the website ever indicate such.Does it depend completely on the strength of the candidate and how much Opera wants the person? Or are there other considerations as well?

  3. Is it possible to work for opera as an Intern?I am a student of Media Computer Science and would love to work for Opera Software…

  4. Aux: If your education/experience is relevant for several positions, I can't see why not.Eddie_Lopez: As a rule of thumb, people work from one of our main offices. There are certain exceptions to this, but these are few and far between. To work for Opera, you will probably have to be willing to relocate. Still, one never knows who will be the next "exception to the rule" :)Michael.Hettich: Yes, we do have interns. I am not quite sure how this works, though… I suppose I could try to find out πŸ™‚

  5. Looks like we're building up in Korea :)I'll be visiting Korea this summer. Hope I'll have a chance to stop by our Seoul office.

  6. No jobs in Brazil? Noooooo . . . πŸ˜›
I deeply admire Opera and it does look like a wonderful place to work, but I don't know any Norwegian word, Oslo looks like a little cooler than Brasil (30+ΒΊC here in Belo Horizonte now), and there's just one opening for Java developers like me . . . πŸ™‚

  7. Well, I live in Indiana, and I don't really want to relocate, so I imagine that I would not be on the list of people most likely to get hired… πŸ˜‰

  8. I live in California and would like very much to work in Beijing for at least a while. Can I apply for that position or does it accept people only locally? I believe I am a very close match since I've pretty much worked with that same technology for the past two years. Also, would the salary be comparable to what I'm currently making in the US? By comparable I mean at least 70% of what I would be making for a similar position here. In other word, is it going to be the rate local to the office offering the position, or Norway, or the US where I'm living in right now.Aww, heck, I'm applying anyway. This is really cool.
